The countdown for the upcoming 15th INITIATIVE DO IT Golf Charity has started. Playing golf for people in need and social distress has a tradition. Only 11 days are remaining until the tee-off of the 15th and last charity event, taking place on Saturday, July 1st 2023 at the scenic 18-holes golf course of the Golfclub Olching.

Since 2007, the INITIATIVE Golf Charity lures every summer numerous visitors in favor of the INITIATIVE DO IT. This tournament became a famous event, which is strongly supported by the ALR Treuhand and the Rotary Club München-Blutenburg. One particular special of this tournament is the familiar atmosphere. The objective of the event is to equip all attendees with a magnificent and impressing time in Olching under the motto “Golf goes Final”.

The tournament does not count towards your handicap and is played as a Texas scramble. During the last ten charity golf tournaments of the INITIATIVE DO IT there was generated a whopping profit of EUR 1.072.000* in favor of social projects of the INITIATIVE DO IT e.V. as well as the Children's cancer research project at the children’s hospital of the TU München, which is supported by the Rotary Club München-Blutenberg and the ALR Treuhand.

“The driving force for this traditional event is charity idea to jointly and sustainably engage for people in need and distress. The involvement of all stakeholders is exemplary. Therefore, the INITIATIVE DO IT Golf Charity is one of the most important German golf events Our dream would be to reach a six-figure donation sum again at this event," says host Ottmar Flach happily.

Supported by prominent players from business, media and culture and published in high-circulation magazines, newspapers and websites this event is probably one of the most attractive ones of its kind. The high numbers of participants as well as the loyal sponsors, who show their commitment, confirm the extraordinary appeal of this event, which will be held on July 1st, 2023 for the 15th times.
